Dorset Blind Association’s prestigious Motor Show returns to Lulworth Castle for its 8th year on 12th May 2024, sponsored by Blue Sky Financial Planning, and we cannot wait to see you there again!

One of the South’s most picturesque automotive events takes place on Sunday 12th May 2024, within the magnificent grounds of Lulworth Castle. Welcoming over 5,000 attendees in 2023 with over 230 motors on display, the 2024 show promises to be the best yet.

The event is hosted by Dorset Blind Association at Lulworth Castle and is sponsored by Blue Sky Financial Planning. Owners of classic & supercars, motorbikes and all types of motor vehicles are invited to join the exclusive event and are encouraged to book soon to avoid missing out!

As the only Motor Show held on the Lulworth Estate, this unique event is always extremely popular with the public and car owners alike, selling out year after year. In 2023, there were over 230 cars on display, plus club stands from Maclaren and Porsche Club GB. Around 5,000 members of the general public attended throughout the day, raising awareness and vital funds to help the charity support the blind and partially sighted people across Dorset.

Gary Neild from Blue Sky Financial Planning said, “Blue Sky Financial Planning are delighted to once again support the Dorset Blind Association, this time at the motor show at Lulworth Castle on the 12th May. What an enthusiastic bunch of people. We admire the DBA team for their immense passion for how they can help others live a more fulfilling life. Whilst we operate in a different sector, this resonates greatly with us at Blue Sky, as our main emphasis is focussed on ‘what we cause and how we make people feel’. A natural partnership I would say!”

Classic, sport and supercar owners are invited to join this prestigious event on Sunday 12th May with the majestic Castle showground display, sponsored by Daizun Investments. The showground will be open, free of charge, to the general public from 10.30 am, offering a family fun day with live entertainment, a kids’ fun area, food stalls and local craft and handmade produce stalls.

David Rogers, Director at Daizun Investments, expressed his enthusiasm for the sponsorship, stating “We are delighted to be part of such a meaningful event, that not only celebrates our love for cars, but also supports a truly worthwhile cause. I have been a regular car exhibitor at the Dorset Blind Association Motor Show for several years, and we are thrilled to now be the official Supercar Sponsor.”

Neal Burton, car exhibitor, “A really great day run by a super team. The show is laid back with a diverse entry of vehicles, so there’s plenty to see. Set in a fabulous location, what more could you ask for from a car show that supports such a worthy cause. I’m booking in my 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia for next year…see you there!

Entry is only £12 per person, including showground display, breakfast roll and hot drink at registration and exclusive entry to Lulworth Castle. Booking in advance is essential as entry will sell out.
